You cannot really say that just the graphics card will cost 1200$. You don't know what graphics cards will exist, at the time that the new consoles launch.
Also there is a common misconception, when comparing consoles and PCs. Money invested on a PC, will show their worth on a multitude of applications and usages. A console is just for games.
And even 12tflops are expensive at the end of the year, what about 2021,2022,2023 and so on up to 2027, which will be end of life of the next gen consoles?
What I'm saying is that there is a lot of comparison at launch day, without looking at the rest of the 7 years. |
