Blizzard has released a new patch for Overwatch that adds 21:9 monitor support. As NeoGAF's member Flandy showcased, playing in 21:9 reduces your overall FOV. Blizzard's Jeff Kaplan wrote on the official forum, claiming that there are no plans to increase the Overwatch FOV above 103.
