The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Preview: A Look at What's to Come -
Looking at the raw specifications then, GTX 1080 does
not disappoint. Though we're looking at fewer CUDA cores than the
GM200 based GTX 980 Ti or Titan, NVIDIA’s significant focus on
clockspeed means that GP104's 2560 CUDA cores are far more perf

Windows Malware Tries To Avoid 400 Security Products |
...The kind of malware MS can and has put in updates.. avoids all security and privacy measures for consumers aswel.
So no fuck that I wouldn't touch the most recent updates for win7 with a 10 foot pole. My win7 slipstreamed install disc has most the supposed important updates from before winshit10 came out.
Common sense +firewall blocking the fuck out all apps that think they should get internet access when they don't need it works.
GTX1080 looks good, but I'd still wait to see AMD's offering.. in all honestly I'd rather see CPU performance get a major boost in total cores... the premium on intel i7/xeon 6+ cpu cores is ridiculous.. just isn't any reason to upgrade to the same 4core +ht for such sub optimal improvements..skylake is pile of shit aswel who the fuck wants a cpu that takes updates from shitting MS autoupdates.. idiots thats who.
Honestly AMD need to start getting more threatening to intel dominance in the CPU market..this lack of highend competition isn't good. Maybe next year might be upgrade time. |

No, the 1080 is out of my affordability window. The 1070 is definitely good to go. Though multi-monitors and 4K isn't a must have in my gaming experience, 144 hz monitor and the ability to support it will be nice to have. |

A question for those of you who actually installed this:
Does this includes the Windows 10 spyware engine (telemefuckyou) and the Upgrade to Windows 10 crap?
The thing is that:
- MS has not released anything like this before
- in Windows update you can cherry-pick anything you want (and hence a lot of people skipped these junks)
So, I suspect this is just another attempt to sneak these updates in.
Thank you! |

Yeah, I've been clinging to an old Radeon because it just hasn't been worth upgrading. Now it finally is. So time to take out a second mortgage and buy a 1080. |

It's not included and if installed it can be removed. KB3035583
And by the way, this KB is not selected by default in Win7 update. By default it's unchecked
..and No I won't get a 1080 as it offers features that I have no interest in. 4K, 144hz etc. And what is the point of getting one if you don't have those features to begin with. When you do finally find a way to afford to meet those features you'll need a new card anyway. |
