I just finished the game.
I liked it despite that it's a step back from Risen 1 in several areas.
I have my reservations about the ending, but no game is perfect. |

I recently finished it as well. Enjoyed it greatly.
Never played Risen 1 for some strange reason though, so I cannot do a comparison.
I also did a gameplay video a while back.

Ya game looks good, just the price I find is high. When it drops in price I'll probably get it since I finished the first one. Nice vid too, it does look very decent despite some poor reviews I read. |

I found only vague references to the first one. |

CJS keys sells the steam key for 25 euros. Half the price it costs at Steam directly.

The game made a grave to start where it did. I was greatly frustrated at the beginning. It becomes a very different game later on. You need at least 6 hours of gameplay to really get into the game. After that it's great.
Not very deep scenario though. Quite interesting anyway and it does have a healthy dose of humor. |

Yeah, you need to "get into it". If you get over the beginning, chances are good that you'll like it. |

When the price drops, I'll be there. I refuse to pay $60 for this game. |

Yeah, that's too much. 19.99 should be ok, 9.99 would be perfect.
But, I got a better deal than that by playing at the neighbour |

Ha that always works. Ya I was pretty disappointed since I remember getting the first one for 20 bucks. |
