I just finished the game.
I liked it despite that it's a step back from Risen 1 in several areas.
I have my reservations about the ending, but no game is perfect.

I recently finished it as well. Enjoyed it greatly.

Never played Risen 1 for some strange reason though, so I cannot do a comparison.

I also did a gameplay video a while back.

Ya game looks good, just the price I find is high. When it drops in price I'll probably get it since I finished the first one. Nice vid too, it does look very decent despite some poor reviews I read.

I found only vague references to the first one.

CJS keys sells the steam key for 25 euros. Half the price it costs at Steam directly.

The game made a grave to start where it did. I was greatly frustrated at the beginning. It becomes a very different game later on. You need at least 6 hours of gameplay to really get into the game. After that it's great.

Not very deep scenario though. Quite interesting anyway and it does have a healthy dose of humor.

Yeah, you need to "get into it". If you get over the beginning, chances are good that you'll like it.

When the price drops, I'll be there. I refuse to pay $60 for this game.

Yeah, that's too much. 19.99 should be ok, 9.99 would be perfect.
But, I got a better deal than that by playing at the neighbour Wink

Ha that always works. Ya I was pretty disappointed since I remember getting the first one for 20 bucks.
