2K Games has released the first patch for the PC version

This is why it's not smart to pre-order games and why I didn't do it for Mass Effect 2. Luckily there were no serious issues with that one this time, but until the first reviews are in and the message boards aren't overrun with complaints about issues and compatibility problems it is wise to step back before making that purchase.

It's pretty rediculous that -it is essentialy Bioshock 1- is released in the same state that 1 was released in. They played this on 16:9 monitors/TVs just LIKE bio 1, yet they just chuck it out and leave it as a 'get round to when released'...... Yes, glad i NEVER even bought this and will rent it instead Laughing

I love patches, they are the most funny aspect on games today.

I've been playing since it was released and I have not experienced 1 bug yet. Much better than the first game.

As a matter of fact I just finished single player last night without any patches and I never experienced any bugs. No hiccups or video lag at any time. Much better game than the first one. As suspected the mp is garbage or was for me, the game lagged like hell and I was warping everywhere. Don't know how you can have a game using UT engine that lags. Latest Unreal runs amazing on my PC at max quality. Never a stutter in mp. Go figure.
