What was the first graphics card you ever owned?
My first graphics card (1990) was Hercules MDA ISA 8bit with about 16k memory if I remember well - provided more density than 640x480 but the graphics were limited to what you could twist out of text.
Before I've had ATARI 800XL

I remember I couldnt afford the first 3D accelerators from 3dfx but later on I bought Riva TNT card with 16 mb ram, and it was better than the 3dfx counterpart, I think Vodoo with 12mb ram, 4 mb ram was big deal to me 
A friend at school had Matrox G200 and we argued which one is better hehe Good times. |
