The official Ultima Online website titled Ultima Online: Kingdom Reborn reveals that a new revamp of the game's graphics and UI is due sometime in 2007.
According to the announcement the graphics will be an improvement but will still allow for low PC system hardware specs and will let long time UO player

i love the idea, uo is definetly one of the top mmos on the market and a major reason it doesnt attract new players is the graphics.
however, this is EA, theyve already fucked the game enough as is, wonder what new atrocities they will introduce.
on another note - what is the point of doing this? they will be competing against darkfall in 2007, and new players would definetly pick that over UO - while the old players could be disgusted with the new changes and abandon uo |
