Major Nelson reports that the first mod for
Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion has made it's way to XBox Live. The horse armor mod is now available to download for a premium price of 200 points.
This item will be available on PC later today or tomorrow for $1.99, about 50 cents cheaper than the Live version.

there are already a lot of mods around

yes, charging for mods is ridiculous... i see this a lot in sims 2 communities

anyway, i'm sure there will be a free fan-made alternative that will be better
(and actually it's just some esm file, it will spread on *cough*P2Pc*cough* quickly)

I can't believe that they expect to charge people for something that (I see) as something that should've been included in the game from the start.

But personally I dont care about the game, nor do I play it. Just my opinion though.

Sad but predictable this would come. I couldn't care less for mods for ES:O. I'm playing it the way it was intended and will finish it the same way. As far as I'm concerned for 'paying for mods', they can blow me. I don't have to reply to a topic. Greed, is that anything new? Come on..
