LOL what a trip. This MP action clip looks awesome in High-Res at 30 FPS with codec's motion blur after-effect. And the humming drone sound in the background is really top notch too, SFX also. Really looks like a high budget Sci-Fi movie production..of some sort.

The music in the second clip when he enters the spirit world..that did it. Man oh man. I'm going to have some smoooking fun with this one!

How much of you guys think of the music as a major game element? And on that note, can you name a few games which really made an impression on you just because, or mainly because of the music?

Here are a few of my favorites: Tomb Raider 1, Resident Evil 2, Diablo, Tron2.0. Also, C&C Red Alert, MGS, NFS4 had nice music that really fit the theme but didn't really felt like an integral part of it.

Looking forward to a game for the first time in a long time.

GG 3DR. Looks good so far.

P.S. Hey HX, why is there no smiley that's smoking Very Happy?

I completely agree with you on this one Imer, music is very important, at least it is to me. Good music can really set the tone for a game and create a mood that might not have been there otherwise. I recently looked back at some of my favorite games of all time and realized that they boasted some of the best music ever used in a video game, they include but are not limited to;

Final Fantasy 7
Unreal
Wave Race 64
System Shock 2
The Curse of Monkey Island
Quake 2 (Yes I know it was just some hard techno rock, but it made me wanna frag damnit!)

Anyone play or listen to any of those classics?
