i'm looking to spend about $100-200 in the next few months to upgrade to a new videocard. i'm not even going to say what i'm running now because i'll be banned from the board, but what would really be the best deal for that price range? the only game i'm really playing right now that actually requires a good video card is unreal2k4. |

now, if i were you i'd take a 9800Pro or non-pro ATi . That's the sanest decision for now. |

When you say $100-200, is that US dollars?
I would wait for the new 6800 and X800's to come out, causing prices to drop. Then either consider a cheap FX5950U or a low-end 6800.
Don't consider the ATI... remember... instant suspension and loss of respect. |
lol i have a geforce4 mx440. |

yeah that looks more along the line of what i'm looking for. granted, if i had a better video card i'd probably be playing alot more games, but i'm what you all would call your "broke gamer". but then again, another 50 bucks really isn't all that much to go for the gold. |
