The first upgrade I noticed was the obvious. The game is running on an all-new 3D engine that lets players view the action from a bird's-eye view all the way down to first person. The game will ship with 30 different species of animals to place, and their animations and emotions are far more elaborate and expressive. In fact, I was quite impressed with the many animations of the lumbering elephants as they marched around their enclosure, washed themselves in the river, and even played with a paintbrush and easel that had been left in their cage.
