Xbox One X Graphical Improvements for GoW 4 - console
(hx) 10:14 AM EDT - Jun,12 2017 - Post a comment
The game was authored in 4K with 4K textures, so this is the first time console gamers will be able to see the game the way it was meant to be. Beyond 4K, on top of HDR the game will support wide color gamut, granting an additional range of brightness. Dolby Atmos will also be supported, and it also works with compatible headsets. Those who don’t have a 4K TV will still benefit from playing the gamne on Xbox One X. The console will still render in 4K and all the graphical enhancements will still be active. The 4K image will be supersampled down to 1080p. Last, but not least, we learn that the frame rate will remain “super solid,” and it will be the same as the original game, with multiplayer running at 60 FPS and campaign running at 30 FPS. The upgrade will be free at the launch of the console on November 7th.
