According to TeamXBox, Bertelsmann's CD/DVD production subsidiary, Sonopress, has licensed the copyright protection system from Midbar, the Israeli company which is the developer and provider of the Cactus Data Shield (CDS) copy control solution series. If you don't know, Sonopress is the exclusive authorized replicator for Xbox DVDs.
"Some copy protection methods modify the data content. Other methods are hardware solutions that implant digital signatures during the mastering process. The Cactus Data Shield is the engine behind the protection and serves as a platform for encoding original content through robust, multi-layer protection schemes. Cactus can be implemented at 3 levels, to restrict discs to dvd player (Xbox) usage only; dvd and pc usage; and dvd and pc playback with ripping enabled. Sonopress has licensed all three." [more]

Sure! Why have I heard that before? Like this was something new? Nazi Germany build rocket planes and both Russia and USA did use former Nazi people to do their stuff... And if you ever do see an old Nazi Movie with Hitlerjugent kids and a modern movie from Israel, then one see the same military drill... In fact, Israel is a lot like Nazi Germany today, their agents (assasins) travel around the world and murder people! So, you ask yourself what this has to do with the anti-copy thing... okay, here is the fact: - Nazi Germany is like an old Anti-copy shit, while the Israel-like-Nazi anti-copy shit is the "new" thing that will bust the balls of *all* enemies... haha, okay, and when something NEW bust the Israeli balls, then what??? Hey... Why bother with anti-copy shit things when the hackers anyhow will bust it??? Nazi-Germany does not exist today, and mark my words: who will protect the CD/DVD's when Israel does not exist? Okay, I have an candidate: - My "unmolested" dick! Yes, my dick is not "molested", speak about "dick-protection" to have it all intact!

Singularity - PC, PS3, Xbox 360 - Raven have stated that Singularity's main gameplay mechanism is a device, known in the game as the TMD (Time Manipulation Device). The TMD has the ability to move a single object through time, both into the future, and into the past. It can also freeze an object in time, and has an 'Impulse' function, which can be used as a weapon once upgraded. The TMD is multifunctional, as it can be used as a powerful weapon, but also as a tool in puzzle solving scenarios. The device's use as a weapon is unconventional when compared to the weapons in other games. For instance, using the TMD's "rewind" function on a human opponent will send them into a "placental" state where they revert to an almost amoebic state, before slowly dying. The device is essential for solving puzzles, such as sending a lock forward in time, causing it to rust it in real time, or sending a broken bridge backwards in time until it returns to a usable state. Sending a tree trunk forwards in time while standing on it will cause it grow very quickly, allowing the player to reach higher areas. (808 hits)
