X2 - The Threat European release - briefly

According to this post in Egosoft forums, the European release date of X² - The Threat, the upcoming space sequel has been pushed back to February 6, 2004. Fortunately, the US version is currently on-schedule. They expect Enlight to confirm a release date shortly.
The localisation process requires more additional time for testing and Q&A than was expected. Due to the importance of a simultaneous pan-European launch in all the major territories (UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France and Italy). Egosoft and Koch have agreed to set a new street date of Feb 6th, 2004. This new street date will also allow the developers to enhance even further, key aspects of the game-play and graphics and make the European version of X2 worth waiting for.

WTF is wrong with you developers??? you had better release the UK version at the same time, since US and UK are the same, just a few changes. colour color armour armor that sort of shite. just release the game!!!

This is why pirates are increasing because idiots like this release games in one country months before another... Think if halflife2 came out in usa three months before uk, people would be desperate to get there hands on it!
