The WTF-Q3A
crew has released their new
WTF-Q3A addonPack for Quake 3 Arena(43MB). WTF-Q3A Addonpack-1 contains 14 very
unique maps built by experienced and well known authors, (79DieselRabbit,
amethyst7, BerneyBoy, BETAmax, Hal9000, PADMAN, Q). There are 2 flags per team
and only 1 weapon per map which were made for specific weapons. The concept of
WTF-Q3A is quite simple. By default, everybody starts with full ammo, and only 1
weapon. By doing so, the WTF-Q3A looks like a MOD, but it's really conventional
maps, hum! The focus is on gameplay through raw skill, not weapon manipulation.
The gameplay is very fast, all maps are small, making CTF games a long frag
fest, and DeathMatch games quick and painful. Bots play really well. (thanks BerneyBoy) |
