With its latest feature in Windows 10, currently dubbed "Sets," Microsoft has taken some major cues from what browser makers learned years ago. Basically, it lets you group together Windows apps in tabs. Think of Sets as a mashup of existing and emerging Windows 10 technologies. Take Windows Explorer and the little-used Task View within Windows 10, mix in the newer "Pick up where you left off" and "Timeline" features, and wrap it all into a single-window experience. The idea is that every task requires a set of apps Mail, a browser, PowerPoint, even Win32 apps like Photoshop and those apps will be optionally organized as tabs along a single window.

The real estate seems to have shrunken again by moving things from the task bar into tabs. Don't any of them have laptops with 14 inch display???

Anyway, they should call it Tabs 1 instead of Windows 10, lol

I understand the idea behind it, but the implementation is just crap. Who the hack thinks that tabs can be a solution to that problem???
We have had virtual desktops for that for years, works fantastically.
MS has to go and fuck things up again.

Seems to me that they are really are determined to run this OS into the ground...
