HomeLAN - What new features in terms of weapons and items have been put into the game since our last interview? Matthew Karch - Today we have a whole host of new weapons, power-ups and breakable items that have been developed over that past year. Highlights among them include our Acid Gun and Atom Gun which utilize real-time procedural morphing to irradiate, melt and explode opponents like balloons and our Medusa Gun and Sniper Crossbow which employ real-time calculation of break points and advanced physics (rigid body dynamics) to make opponents wither, shatter and break into component parts which bounce and fall naturally. These same technologies are also used for many SFX and item breaking in the game itself.
