Hellgate Guru has a new video interview (download)
with Bill Roper, the CEO of Flagship Studios, which was done in conjunction
with the Chinese Hellgate: London fansite. It’s a 24-minute long interview
with Bill, conducted in the back of a van during his trip to China a month or
so back.
- The Sims 2 Pets video -
In The Sims 2 Pets Producer Walkthrough, Producer Ben Bell shows you how
your Sims can interact with their pets on the console. Pick from popular cat
and dog breeds, train them, and take them to the hoppin' town square. And have
no fear, PC players, we've got you covered as well! Designer Hunter Howe makes
a repeat appearance in the
Designer Walkthrough for PC Expansion Pack and shows off a ton of cool
features in the latest addition to The
Sims 2.

Epic's Tim Sweeney On PS3 UT 2007 -
In a Gamasutra article featuring Tim Sweeney discussing the PS3, Tim
discusses the ability to add maps and mods (created on a PC, of course) to the
PS3 version of UT2007. Also, Jay Wilbur revealed that the game won't be out
till at least Q2 or Q3 2007.
- Counter-Strike Source Update - Valve has been hinting about major
changes to how weapons pricing will be handled in an upcoming update for their
multiplayer shooter Counter-Strike: Source and their
latest Steam news update finally reveals their plans.
- Eternal Silence Half-Life 2 Mod available -
This mod is
different than the normal Half-Life 2 release in that it's a space action
game where two large space combat vessels along with on foot action inside the
ships.
- Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach Module Released - Turbine
announces the release of
Stormreach Under Siege, the fourth content module for Dungeons & Dragons
Online, free to all subscribers to their D&D MMORPG.
- Guild Wars: Nightfall preview event started -
The Guild Wars: Nightfall world preview event has kicked off! Play the PvE
or PvP part of this game for a whole weekend for free. If you already have GW
or GW: Factions, then just start up your game. Others need to follow
this
instructions.
- Free Battle For Middle Earth II Xbox 360 Map Pack - Electronic Arts
has released a new three level multiplayer map pack for the Xbox 360 version
of their fantasy RTS title Lord Of The Rings: Battle For Middle Earth II. The
Aragorn's Journey Map Pack will remain free through Sept. 29 to download via
Xbox Live.
- Fuzion Frenzy 2 Demo On XBox Live Now - The demo for Fuzion Frenzy 2 is now available on the XBox Live Marketplace. The demo is aa nicely-sized 298MB, so it should not take you too long to download.
- Sony Shows Off PS3 Interface and Web Browser -
Sony
demoed the Playstation 3's user interface during an invite only session at
the Tokyo Game Show (Sony did not allow anyone to photograph or video the
event as they claim they are still working on the interface). The UI is
similar in look to Sony's PSP console and the demo showed off how it handles
photo and music files along with the games section.
- Guitar Hero maker bought by MTV for $175M -
MTV Networks reports an agreement to buy Cambridge-based videogame
developer, Harmonix Music Systems Inc., for $175 million
- Wii Calculator -
The Wii Calculator is a web calculator to determine how much Wii will cost
you. Select the number of controllers, games you want and other options to
determine the final cost of Wii.
