Sorry for the slow updates last weeks, I have been really busy at work... I don't have so much time like before (for those of you who don't know - Gameguru is not my full-time job anymore). Nevertheless, I'm doing my best to keep the website updated. And yes, I still playing PC games, when I have got a time. Space Siege, FlatOut Ultimate Carnage and Spore are on my list! Maybe I will write some reviews, who knows :-) By the way, what will you be playing this weekend?

Maxis: Spore Doesn't Need Demo, Does Need DRM - Over at Eurogamer you can read an interview with Spore executive producer Lucy Bradshaw. He confirms that there will be no specific demo except for the Creature Creator and that the game will include DRM protection: "We do have copy protection, it is a necessary part of our biz, but we've worked to make it something that does not punish the legit owners," Bradshaw said. "You need to authenticate once at the first install. This happens online. You can install on three separate computers and you do need to register for the online features." Well, they need to at least have something like Bioshock (after launch, but before they removed it completely), where you could run a utility to redeem an activation before uninstalling. Otherwise 3 seems problematically low! :-(
Need for Speed goes Undercover November 18 - EA officially announced Need for Speed Undercover for the Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, PSP, Wii, Nintendo DS, PC, and mobile devices. Undercover will feature gameplay that resembles 2005's NFS: Most Wanted, emphasizing car chases, underground racing, and highway battles. Need for Speed Undercover is expected to drift onto retail shelves in North America on November 18, with a European release following on November 21.
Carrier Command Remake Revealed - Bohemia Interactive Studio and Black Element Software announced a new multi-platform title, Carrier Command: Gaea Mission, an upcoming game based on the original Carrier Command released in 1988. The new game strives to deliver innovative and intense gameplay in a truly next-gen rendition. It is still on schedule for a 2008 release.

Truly appreciate all that you do -in honest you've killed the internet for me since i don't need to go anywhere else for my news :P

As for jobs, that's life mate. I never thought i would do half the things i've done lately. But hey, life's about learning new things and going with the flow.
Sometimes things have to take a back seat, your a rareity as far as one of the original survivers from the likes of 3DGamers era -remember them :wink:
I'm going back to the PC (never really left it, just stuck with an oldie machine) it will be a cheaper build as i enjoy my PS3 and Wii+DS (with the wife of course!)

I'm replaying Stalker right now. I can now experience it in full glory with ridiculously high framerates (my imho perception). Love my 4850 =)
Once again, an incredible game. Missions seem familiar, but not the same... I could probably babble hours about it, so whatever. In short, I'm almost ready for Clear Sky and can't wait to dive into its world.
One more thing: when you play on master and turn off the crosshair, you become SO much more immersed, I didn't even expect. You almost never can actually hit a person from the hip with a gun 10 meters away in real life. Same here, so you have to use ironsights and only once in a while shoot from the hip.
Is anyone else feeling a devine itch for ClearSky? =)

Lost Odyssey is ace. Stumpus, I'm doing the same tbh, FO1 and 2 with Killaps expansion mod.. Getting psyched up for FO3 :D I really need to complete MGS4 though, same goes for GTA IV.

Thanks for the heads up! Didn't know there was a mod for FA2? Just installed it 8) Oh of course MGS4, how could i forget. I find him such a moaning old fart, Solid.
I wish there was more stealth though ala Splinter Cell and less countless spawning? It has so much potential to be the best Snake ever, but i find it just better graphics. I end up getting frustrated and shooting anything that is hostile untill the spawning stops. The PC is spoilt in that dept i must admit.
