- PAYDAY 2 Free Weekend - PAYDAY 2 is one more game
currently running a free weekend on
Steam. The Free to play period as well as the discounts end on
Monday at 10am Pacific.
- Kathy Rain Free on Steam (80% off) - Kathy Rain is an adventure game set in the 90s and
starring the eponymous plucky college student with a hot motorbike and
a smart mouth. She's off back to her hometown to investigate her
grandfather's death, getting tangled in all sorts of
possibly-maybe-kinda-or-not supernatural shenanigans. You point with a
mouse then click, y'see, which controls everything from chatting with
folks to using items. Adventure games. The game was free on Steam a
couple days ago (thanks Psolord), however I've had very difficult week
and I fortgot to post it, sorry guys.
- Konami announce Castlevania Anniversary Collection - Castlevania Anniversary Collection lands on
digital stores May 16, Konami eaerlier announced the eight games

- Tetris 99 Gets Offline Modes As Paid DLC - Titled the Big
Block DLC, the $9.99 DLC adds two new offline modes to the game. One is
battle royale with bots, so you can practice your aiming and attacking
skills in this mode. The other is the classic Marathon mode, which
would be well known to anyone who has ever played Tetris in their
entire lives. While it's not quite Tetris Effect, Tetris 99 is
looking to add skins to the game, too. On May 17, a new Maximus Cup
will take place. Regardless of where you place, you will earn some
points, and 100 points during the weekend will earn you a Gameboy
Tetris skin. Tetris 99 is a free download on Switch.
- Assassin's Creed - May 2019 Update - check it out
- Wolfenstein: Youngblood will have Dishonored-like 'open-ended'
level design - Wolfenstein: Youngblood will be the first game in
the series to offer "open-ended" levels that can be played in
multiple ways. Talking to executive producer Jerk Gustafsson, Official
PlayStation Magazine revealed in its June 2019 issue (Issue 162), that
while the campaign is "lighter" in both tone and campaign length,
developing the game alongside Dishonored developer Arkane Studios means
"the amount of gameplay time is greater" because of its "open-ended
structure". In related news, in a Reddit AMA, MachineGames
confirmed that the next Wolfenstein game, Wolfenstein: Youngblood will
not be timed-exclusive to the Epic Games Store. As such, and similarly
to RAGE 2, Wolfenstein Youngblood will be coming on both the Bethesda
store and Steam.
- This mod brings A2 from NieR Automata to Monster Hunter World
- Crimsonfaust released a new mod that allows gamers to play as YoRHa
Type A No.2 (also known as A2) from NieR Automata. This mod
features both versions of A2 that were featured in NieR: Automata; the
first one is with short hair and the second one is with long hair.
Furthermore, another mod – from the same user - brings the female
Commander from NieR Automata to Monster Hunter World, and you can
download it from here.
- Final Fantasy VII Remake Will Still Be an Episodic Release
- Well, as of now, one thing that we do know for certain is that Final
Fantasy VII Remake will still be releasing in multiple parts, much
like Square said it would years back. This information was divulged on Square's official Japanese website via
a press release after the new Final Fantasy VII Remake video
went live. Upon the original announcement, it was sort of assumed that
nearly
every episode would make its way to PS4, but over three years down the
line, splitting the game up into parts throws up new
questions. We
assume the first episode will arrive before the PS5 does, but will it
receive a next-gen release shortly afterwards in order to take
advantage of that additional power? Save data also needs to be taken
into consideration, because the likes of your level and inventory will
have to be transferred between episodes, throwing up the question of
pulling across data from the PS4 to the PS5. Of course, the first PS4
episode will be fully playable on the PS5 via backwards compatibilty,
still giving you access to what is described as a full game.
- Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 Gets a Lengthy Gameplay Video - Marvel
Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order is coming exclusively to the
Nintendo Switch on July 19.
