- Alice: Madness Returns First Impressions -
Like in the previous game, there is a mix of exploration and platforming
along with the combat, where you may need to hit switches to reveal a
path to the next area. The game is linear, so there's no chance of
getting lost, but you will need to wander off the beaten path of hidden
objects and collectibles. Alice: Madness Returns is set to come out in
2011 on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
- Black Prophecy Gameplay Video - Black
Prophecy is a space, combat focused MMO for the PC that's
currently in closed beta. If you want to check out more, there's
a trailer. There's no official
release date as of yet.
- Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Autolog Recommends -
Arms Race - A new Need for Speed Hot Pursuit 'Autolog Arms Race' Trailer shows
off more heated "Autolog" competition in the upcoming racing sequel.
- Elemental: War of Magic Patch 1.08b - The
new version has a bunch of changes, including the beta
version of the strategy game's multiplayer support.
- StarCraft II Patch 1.1 Coming on Tuesday - The
first feature and balance patch release for StarCraft II: Wings of
Liberty will be available next Tuesday, September 21.
The maintenance period will begin at 5:00 a.m. and last until
approximately 11:00 a.m. PDT.
- Arma 2 Mission Editor Tutorial - The Arma 2 website has new video

- Phantasy Star Online 2 Revealed - Sega
announced Phantasy Star Online 2. The online RPG sequel is
due for PC and is expected next year.
- Evochron Mercenary released - Starwraith
3D Games has just launched Evochron Mercenary which can be
purchased over at GamersGate, Impulse and other PC game download sites
for $29.95. The game itself, as its title suggests, as you playing as a
mercenary piloting a spacecraft in a vast universe where there are lots
of choices, from taking on civilan missions to fighting in military
wars.
- THQ Delays Homefront Until March 2011 - THQ
has delayed Homefront, its Kaos Studios developed FPS, until March
2011. The game will be released for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and
PC. The PC port is being handled by Digital Extremes.
- Epic Buying APB? - Epic Games may be interested in purchasing the rights
to failed MMO APB since APB is built on the back of Epic's Unreal engine
- Telltale Games' Adventure Bundle 2010 - Telltale Games' Adventure Bundle 2010
special has been extended to Monday. For those unaware, the $19.95
bundle includes 10 great games, and for every purchase, $5 will go to
one of five charities of your choosing. The 10 games include: The
Whispered World, Jack Keane, King's Quest 1 - 7, and Penny Arcade
Adventures: Episode 1.
- Portal 2 Preorder Bonuses - GameStop's
Portal 2 Listing reveals two preorder bonuses for Valve's
platformer sequel. One is this: "Pre-order Portal 2 and receive
GameStop exclusive 'Custom Bots' for the cooperative multiplayer game
included in Portal 2." The second bonus is a $5.00 discount off the
retail price.
- Halo Reach has a $200 million opening day - Bungie's
last Halo game, Halo Reach, has broken the record of single-day revenue
by bringing in $200 million on launch day.
- MAG Gets Move Support And Several New Features
Soon (PS3) - Next month Zipper is poised to deliver 'MAG 2.0' to its fans, a meaty
patch that will add PlayStation Move support, bump the level cap up to
70, and revamp the game's skill tree to allow 'the deepest character
customization and specialization ever found in a first-person shooter'.
- Little Big Planet 2 - Community - Vietnam FPS - Media
Molecule's claims that LittleBigPlanet 2 is more than just a 2D
platformer with a level editor sound borderline implausible
at times. But it seems that these boasts have not, in fact, been
exaggerated. An enterprising young Italian YouTube user known only as
'TheFinalBurst' has uploaded a bunch of videos from LBP2's beta.

up the PS3 hacking community, PS3 coder JaicraB has released an early build of his USB Firm Loader,
a homebrew program that lets you load custom firmware on your
jailbroken PS3.
- Metal Gear Solid 3 for 3DS Coming in 2011 - At
Tokyo Game Show 2010, series creator Hideo Kojima revealed that the
enhanced Nintendo 3DS port of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater will be
released in 2011
