I hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy! Hopefully, the weather is nice enough to go outside (now I'm talking about Europe) . Also this is a great time to dust off some of the old games or look at the various sales that are going on. What are you playing? Well, Close To The Sun is currently free on Epic Games so I may try some of that (surprisingly I've never played this adventure game).
  • Assassin's Creed 2 will be free to own on UPLAY on April 14th - It appears that Ubisoft will be offering the second part in its Assassin's Creed series for free next week. According to Mydealz and industry insider ZhugeEX, Ubisoft will be giving away Assassin’s Creed 2 on UPLAY on April 14th
  • Call of Duty: Warzone graphics have been severely downgraded in recent updates - Call of Duty: Warzone graphics received significant downgrade since update 1.13 without a single word from Infinity Ward and Activision. The screenshots reveal worse draw distance, volumetric lighting and object detail among other things.
  • Call of Duty: Warzone Passes 50M Players - Activision tweets another milestone for Call of Duty: Warzone. They say that over 50 million players have now checked out their battle royale. Yes, the game is free-to-play, but that's still a pretty impressive number.

  • Meeple Station Leaves Early Access - Publisher Modularity and developer Vox Games announce that Meeple Station is now out of Early Access, marking the official release of this management simulation where you build and operate a space station. This is available on Steam and you can also pick up a DRM-free copy on the official website
  • Nioh 2 version 1.08 update - Publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Team Ninja have released the version 1.08 update for Nioh 2, which includes various adjustments and bug fixe
  • Fallout New California Beta 231 released - Radian-Helix Media has released a brand new beta version of its Fallout: New Vegas fan prequel, Fallout New California. According to the team, Fallout New California Beta 231 features re-compressed meshes and textures. These new NIFs should avoid random crashes and performance issues that were present in the previous versions. Moreover, Fallout New California Beta 231 contains a great deal of world map adjustments and new exploration content It also packs overall improvements to the look of things outside the Vault.
  • This 4.3GB AI-enhanced HD Mod brings high quality textures and normal maps to Half-Life: Source - This pack uses a batch of generated normal maps with alpha channel to make dark parts of the textures non-reflective. As a result of that, the size of the mod is now around 4.38GB
  • Cyberpunk 2077's DLCs and expansions will be similar to The Witcher 3 - According to Adam Kicinski , players should expect "a similar scenario to The Witcher 3". Both DLCs and expansions will be announced before the game's release. According to level designer Max Pears, the company learnt a lot from The Witcher 3 and how that DLC worked. He also said: "We've learnt from that and that is the strategy for how we'll apply DLC to Cyberpunk as well". Their goal is to do the same with Cyberpunk 2077. CDPR employees are working from home due to the outbreak. According to Kicinski, nothing has changed, Cyberpunk 2077 will be released in September. He also said: "We feel motivated and have the necessary tools at our disposal to meet this goal".
  • China Bans Sales Of Animal Crossing: New Horizons In Suspected Censorship Scuffle - Imported sales of Animal Crossing: New Horizons have been banned in China, it has been reported.  The instruction filtered through Alibaba's e-commerce platform Taobao to sellers yesterday (April 9th) and is expected to come into full effect today. According to screenshots posted online by Taobao sellers, the ban impacts not just the game but all merchandise and related hardware. While no official word has been issued on why the ban has taken place, some have suspected that it's related to the fact that the game can be used to share materials online – such as political slogans – that are generally frowned upon by the Chinese government. The game's pattern editing mode permits players to create their own messages and slogans that can be viewed by other players all over the world. Bloomberg is reporting that the game is one of many that is being used to highlight the political struggle in Hong Kong

Just had a quick play of Close To The Sun. reminded me instantly of Bioshock, just the opening beginning level. Yeah, never see the likes of this in our lifetimes again. Though the fallout recession from it will be like the war.... :cry:

Do you know of a Kingdom Come Deliverance mod that removes that stupid 'locked into fight' crap?
Killed the game for me because it's absolutely ridiculous that I can't move the way I want.
Would have been a good game otherwise.

I’m still messing with it. Hated the shit save system so changed that..

Actually, the save system did not bother me that much.

The stupid limitations in combat did. Nobody fights like that.
