- Ace Combat 7 has just been released on the PC - Ace
Combat 7 has just been released on the PC and from the looks of it the
game lacks various PC features that PC gamers were expecting to find in
a brand new 2019 PC game. The game also currently has negative reviews on Steam, though
it's really early right now and Bandai Namco can turn the tides with a
quick hotfix/patch. For starters, the game does not support ultrawide
21:9 resolutions. Not only that, but some gamers reported that they
were unable to run the game in 4K.
- Epic Games Store Adding Opt-in Review System - Responding
to the accusation that the Epic Games Store is "trying to silence
consumers" by not hosting user reviews, Epic
CEO Tim Sweeney tweets that they are planning on introducing an
opt-in review system
- Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China for Free - The Ubisoft
Store is offering Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China for free
between now and February 5th. This first installment in a trilogy of
2.5D stealth/action games was originally released in 2015, and for
those interested in the other installments, Assassin's
Creed Chronicles: India and Assassin's
Creed Chronicles: Russia are each on sale for 66% off.
- Kholat Free on Steam - Another game first released in 2015
is available for free, as Steam
is offering Kholat with a 100% discount. This is a limited time offer,
but once you add it to your library it's yours to keep permanently. The
game is narrated by Sean Bean and the Dyatlov Pass incident was a real
story that happened in winter of 1959. Nine skilled alpinists went for
a trip to the northern part of Ural Mountains, which ended fatally.
Bodies of expedition’s crew were found scattered on slope of Kholat
Syakhl. Russian investigators closed the case stating that “a
compelling unknown force” had caused the deaths.

- Resident Evil HD Remaster receives a new AI-enhanced Texture
Pack - According to the modder, this Texture Pack, which is more than 8GB in size,
upgrades/improves more than 1600 textures and took almost a month in
order to be finished. Do note though that the rooms that Capcom
redid as 3D rendered rooms have not been modified. This pack covers the
entire game, meaning that you can install it and enjoy the improved
textures from start to finish
- The latest version of Denuvo used in Resident Evil 2 Remake,
Denuvo 5.5, has been cracked - Resident Evil 2 Remake was released
on January 25th and was powered by the latest version of the Denuvo
anti-tamper tech. And from the looks of it, it took almost a week in
order to crack this new version of the controversial anti-tamper tech.
It will be interesting to see whether the scene groups will crack Ace
Combat 7 before Metro Exodus launches, and whether they will be able to
release a crack on launch day for Metro Exodus (especially after the
announcement of the Epic Store exclusivity deal; a deal that frustrated
a lot of PC gamers).

the developers. Backward compatibility is still a big question mark
even though rumors state that backward compatibility will happen
eventually for the PS5. Now one of the editors at Digital Foundry has
chimed in and said that backward compatibility is "absolutely coming to
the PS5.
