Abit IP35-E Socket 775 Motherboard Tested - This board had a little bit of the good, the bad, and the ugly. The ugly being the fact that it has an issue with a double reboot on each restart. The issue is not exclusive to this chipset as the Intel 965 boards had the same issues.
ATI HD 2900 XT 512MB vs NVIDIA 8800 GTS 320MB Comparison - In all but one game the HD 2900 XT came out in front of the GTS 320Mb, the lead in Oblivion is due to the lack of memory space with on the GTS card. The other games hold a small lead, with only Colin McRae running ~15% faster on the Geforce card.
Crossfire HD 2900 XT vs. 8800 Ultra - While the Ultra is not a heap of crap, to be brutally honest... it is not far from it! Huge price tags and a ridiculous price-to-performance ratio doesn't make the card that attractive.

iPhone Hacked for Shell Access - Well, that didn't take long -- the hacker crew of IRC channel #iPhone has managed to enable shell access to the iPhone just a week after its release. There's not a lot to the hack -- the iPhone's 30-pin dock connector features the same pinouts as the iPod, so creating a serial connection simply involved connecting up a resistor, ground, and RS-232 level converter and running a few commands from iphoneinterface. The resulting shell is pretty basic, but features a TFTP client.
