I have the BFG 7600 GT OC, I got sick of my X800. Wicked card, excellent price and it plays ALL the games flawlessly.. You'd have to be crazy imo to go with ATI these days..ATI might be a decent card but all it does is have compatibility issues with slow slow support. Maybe once you have an ATI card and go through the 'load up the new game and Boom, reboot', issues you'll see why ATI just can't cut it for games..And don't forget with ATI you get a bloated control panel that takes up LOTS of ram..or the AI feature that if you mess around with it it will F up ur games even more.. I remember I think it was FEAR, ATI releases a new driver and nearly 2 weeks later and most didn't even know even still but ATI messed up their optimization for FEAR and made it worse! Now think to yourself, how many other games you have that they messed up optimizing and how many of those games will ATI fix..I lived with ATI for the past 3 years or so.. I'll never touch another card from them. With this 7600 GT nVidia won me back and I can't say thank you enough!

I am actually surprised at his fps measures.. I will have to double check my settings because I feel I was getting better performance and I have a lesser CPU ~ 3500.. I didn't buy the card to be screaming fast.. I bought it to make do until the next cards come out and actually after seeing my system perform over the last few nights..I think I'll be holding onto this card for a whille.. What kills me is it's specs are lower than ATI specs and yet it outperforms comparable cards..the X1800 in my area is +450 bucks.. and the X800, still selling at $345...and needless to mention the X800 is limited in terms of functionality for todays games.. vaporware hardware... but then that's how ATI does business. 6 months later they don't give a shit about you or their card..
