- Fable 2 Preview - Both
IGN and
GameSpot have posted their impressions of Fable 2. GameSpot is reporting
Microsoft's latest release lineup has Fable 2 slated for a holiday release,
while
Joystiq goes further with a range of tidbits from Danish site
Xboxlife.dk via a the NeoGAF forums. According to them, the game is content
complete, three further sequels are planned, the world is somewhere between
10 and 30 times larger (depending on the source) and a bunch of other stuff.
- Mass Effect - Ray Muzyka interviews - There are two interviews up
with Bioware CEO Ray Muzyka.
The first with C&VG looks at the game, future content updates and leaps
forward to the sonic RPG.
The second with PC Gamer at Games Radar focuses more on the recent
copy protection issues.
- Valve Discusses TF2 Updates, Microtransactions, and Steam Controllers

has an interview with Valve's Doug Lombardi in which he talks about
future Team Fortress 2 updates, Left 4 Dead, microtransactions, and the
potential for PC controllers with a "Steam" branding.
- Bethesda Blog Update - Matt Grandstaff: Fallout 3 demo -
The blog entry on what Matt Grandstaff is playing says "Fallout 3 demo -
over and over again". However, the demo is not going to be released
publically....yet.
- Stateshift Announced - Playlogic Entertainment, Inc. (Nasdaq OTC:
PLGC.OB), an independent worldwide publisher of entertainment software,
announced that it will publish the futuristic racer Stateshift on PC.
Playlogic plans to release Stateshift early summer 2008.
- Unbirth Alpha Released - Frictional Games' project that never got
on track as a commercial release, but is being
offered in its
alpha state due to popular demand
- Lost Planet: Extreme Condition Colonies Edition Gone Gold (Xbox
360) - Capcom announced today that Lost Planet: Extreme Condition
Colonies Edition has gone gold. The suggested retail price is $29.99. Capcom
plans to ship Lost Planet COLONIES EDITION on May 27, 2008

- Grand Theft Auto IV steals Guiness World Record - Guinness World
Records has confirmed that
Grand Theft Auto IV has become the highest ever entertainment earner
within the first 24 hours after release, selling 3.6 million units and
generating USD 310 million in revenue.
- MS: Expect 7 Years of Xbox 360 Support, At Least -
Microsoft plans to support its Xbox 360 hardware until at least 2013,
according to comments made by Microsoft Game Studios VP Shane Kim.
