- Medal of Honor: Airborne Interview -
FiringSquad has conducted an interview with EALA game designer Rex
Dickson to find out more about their plans for Medal of Honor: Airborne.
Most interesting part is about non-linear game play: "It all starts with
the drop. As you enter each mission (and when you re-spawn after death) you
will parachute into the map and be able to choose any starting point in the
mission space. From there, the player can go in any direction they want.
They can leave a fight in progress at any time. They can get on top of
buildings or scaffolding, they can get behind enemy lines and they can find
flanking routes. While you can be old fashioned and play right down the
line, Airborne is at its best when players get creative with their tactics."

- Epic's Mark Rein pleased with Blu-ray's 'legroom' - Much like a
psychotic chainsaw killer,
Epic vice president Mark Rein has expressed satisfaction with being
given more room to store all those legs. While talking up first-person
fragger Unreal Tournament 3 at the Edinburgh Interactive Festival, Rein
praised the PlayStation 3 disc format's large storage capacity, noting that
"we may have fewer maps on the 360 version...Blu-ray has definitely given us
a lot of legroom."
- Lost Odyssey Xbox360 Preview - Lost Odyssey, the stunning looking
RPG that is being developed over at Mistwalker, was

- USA Today like Madden 360 over Madden PS3 -
On the surface, the releases on 360 and PlayStation 3 look identical.
However, when you stack them head-to-head, it's clear which is better.
Madden on 360 is fast and fluid, thanks to a sharp jump in frame rate that
allows the game to move twice as fast. PS3 owners, unfortunately, are
greeted with a Madden that is sluggish in comparison. Action stutters far
too often, particularly on injuries, penalties and turnovers. There's also a
half-second delay between pressing the hike button and receiving the ball in
your hands.
