HomeLAN has posted a preview of War Times, the upcoming WWII real-time strategy game from Legends Studios and Strategy First. The preview is based on playing a partial beta build of the game and contains three new screenshots. Here is a slice:

Gameplay seems to be a bit more twitch oriented in War Times than in most other RTS games. Action, action and more action is the rule in this title, with infantry troops quickly being made once you build up the army's barracks. In our build we took our team of infantry members and three tanks and pretty much laid waste to the enemy. There are also tanks, planes and ships to use with over 80 separate units available for use in War Times, along with structures like barracks, labs, academies and more for building new and upgraded units and vehicles.. Each of the four playble armies in the game has unique units; the Germans have the best offensive ground troops like the flamethrower user, while the US had bomber air power, Britain forces have spies and radar for great defense and the Russians have their heavy duty tanks they can use.
