HomeLAN - What other new gameplay elements have been put into Vivisector?

Anatoly Subbotin - We decided to move away from the idea of creating a "kill 'em all" game. Our aim is to create a FPS that will combine both non-stop action, horror/suspense elements with a cinematic movie-style storyline based on multiple engine based cutscenes. In the beginning of the game as you start in the jungle there are plenty of quite primitive animals and Vivisector looks much more like hardcore action, but as you proceed with the game and move closer to the core of the lab the suspense grows.

We also added some RPG features to the game. Each character has abilities he can develop. By performing special combos, speed kills and other special activities you gain points that can be distributed among those abilities. There will be three characters in the game. Each of them with own characteristics and features.
