HomeLAN: Why did the company decide to release all of its upcoming games for $20?
Jim Maguire: The $20 price point is designed to restructure the way people purchase PC videogames. Basically, people are getting ripped off by paying 40 and 60 dollars for a plastic disk. We are selling entertainment and that should cost a lot less than 60 dollars. We are switching to an entertainment delivery business model. We consider video games as mass entertainment. Virtually, everybody has access to a PC and could play games. Our content is delivered on CD or DVD, we think it should not cost more than an audio CD or a DVD movie to acquire a video game, as it comes on the same support [more]
