Publisher Virgin Interactive recently announced it will release a PS2 game based on the classic sci-fi movie, Robocop. The announcement was met with mixed thoughts, as the movie has been around for a while now, complete with its own 8-bit games.
The new title will be based on the original Robocop movie, but it will also feature brand new situations and characters not appearing in any of the three movies. A spokesman for the title told FGN Online, "We're now focusing on the PS2 version, wanting to get the best out of it, before we start to think about other platforms.
The PS2 version is due this fall
