Pterodon and Illusion Softworks now have released a patch for Vietcong (direct link ~ 33MB), bringing all language editions of the Vietnam-based tactical shooter by Pterodon and Illusion Softworks to version 1.30. This release fixes yet more game crashes, improves networking, addresses the speedhack cheat, adds gameplay enhancements and a few new console commands, and fixes some other bugs. Mirror: 3DGamers.

It woulda been cool if there's a pool of bloods in this game like SOF2, but all you gonna get from Vietcong is a sissy screaming from those VC b***h.

game is for campers who hide in bushes camping at their spawn. Throw voice chat in and you got one messy asian bush that shoots at you! Whooppee..

LOL WAR IS DIRTY IF YOU CAN'T DEAL WITH "CAMPERS" OR DON'T LIKE THE WAR TACTIC OF CAMPING THEN GO PLAY WITH YOUR BARBIE DOLLS AND STAY OUT OF THE WAR. WAR IS ABOUT KILLING THE ENEMY USING THE BEST TACTICS AVAILABLE SOMETIMES THAT MEANS CAMPING AND SOMETIMES IT DOES NOT. THE CONDITION OF THE BATTLEFIELD CHANGES DURING COMBAT. ITS NOT ABOUT BEING MACHO RAMBO WHO RUNS AROUND FIRING LIKE A RETARD. YOU GOT TO MAKE THE BEST MOVE TO KILL THE ENEMY. SO SUCK IT UP AND DEAL WITH IT TOM.

"To I Hate Complainers, you don't get what I'm saying HONEY what I mean is that if the game lacks the important elements like blood and gore and the impack effect it's a dull game in the long run.

to piccolo you stupid ass motherfucker i am a soldier in the australian army and fought in vietnam now important elements arent that good when its your best friends blood covering your clothes because you just saw his head get shot off also to i hate complainers yes i do agree with you but war is not about killing the enemy it is about halting them and protecting your country
