Illusion Softworks has released three new shots (thanks Tiscali Games) from Vietcong: Fist Alpha, soon-to-be-available expansion pack for recent jungle-based tactical FPS. The expansion  will include 7 new SP missions, 8 new MP maps, 6 new weapons (including machettes and bayonets) and new aircrafts: B52 Stratofortress, F105 Thunderchief, F4 Phantom. Vietcong: Fist Alpha is set for late January 2004 release. In addition, Pterodon ha released a new multiplayer map ( ~ 8BMB mirrors: 3DGamers, WorthPlaying) for the original Vietcong. The map is called "'3 Canyons" and features a new Turn Table mode, as well as all other modes and allows up to 32 players. Another Vietcong maps can be found here.

I wonder how people are going to react when some foreign company makes a Vietnam game from the point of view of the Vietcong driving the Americans out of their country.
