Valve Steam Summer Sale :300k refund requests a day - briefly

Valve launch its 2017 Steam Summer Sale on June 26th and according to its official stats, the company received 300K refund requests. And to be honest, this was to be expected. After all, most games are not coming with a free demo and a lot of gamers are using Steam’s refund system in order to try them. Usually, Valve receives around 75K requests (and some days that number goes up to 100K). However, and as we can clearly see, on June 23rd the company received 315K requests. That number went down the following to 296K. On June 25th, Valve received 273K requests and on June 28th the team received 228K requests. |
