HomeLAN has posted an interview with Introversion's Chris Delay as he talks about their cult hit PC hacking game Uplink. Here is a snip:
HomeLAN: How much research, if any, did the team do in real computer hacking for the game?
Chris Delay: Not as much as you might think. Most of the research done was in films - for style rather than real information. Uplink is not particularly true-to-life - since real hacking is pretty boring. A few books provided some excellent insight into the hacker mind though - "Takedown" and "The Cuckoo's egg" for example.
