Ubisoft is now offering a seven-day free trial of
UPLAY+, offering the
chance to sample the 100+ PC games offered on their subscription service. After
a week the regular price of $14.99/month takes effect. You are required to enter
payment information, but you will not be charged as long as you cancel before
the trial ends.

Cancel ANYTIME during the subscribed month and UPLAY+ will not renew the
following month
Not a good deal considering you can get Origin Access for $30 a year. Maybe $2.5/month would be a fair cost?

Here are some additional details that Ubisoft has shared:
“One free trial per Ubisoft Account from July 7 to July 27, 2020. To begin free trial, you must provide a valid credit or debit card. You will be charged $14.99 per month on expiration of the free trial seven days from the date you signed up for the trial, unless you cancel before it expires seven days after you signed up,”
So yeah, make sure to cancel your subscription (seven days after you signed up for the free trial), otherwise UPLAY+ will charge you $14.99.
