UK Defense Secretary wants Medal of Honor banned - briefly

The UK Defense Secretary, Liam Fox, wants stores to ban the sale of the Medal of Honor, the popular first person shooter as a player can play as the Taliban and kill British troops. Medal of Honor, which is due to be released in October, is based on the war between allied forces and the Taliban. Players get to choose sides; either play as NATO forces or as the Taliban.
A clip on the YouTube website shows a Taliban soldier fighting in southern Helmand province, where UK forces are based.

Gamers are apparently instructed to stop the coalition "at all costs", and receive points for every allied troop they kill.

Dr Fox said: "It's shocking that someone would think it acceptable to recreate the acts of the Taliban. At the hands of the Taliban, children have lost fathers and wives have lost husbands.

"I am disgusted and angry. It's hard to believe any citizen of our country would wish to buy such a thoroughly un-British game. I would urge retailers to show their support for our armed forces and ban this tasteless product."

the thoroughly British nature of supporting and taking part in wars and killing when its tied to some sort of justified war the establishment has fooled its serfs into fear if they don't take part and thus the reactionary idiots go into believe in and supporting its leaders war crusades.. how stupid, most wars are started and are only ever over when the scum that controls (usually both sides) of those wars can no longer drag them on, after dumb fucks ie public support for paying it start to realize its pointless and only they get suckered in increased tax money of dept and death it causes.

Such is the illusion of terrorists (think you'll find more in your governments and those behind them pulling the string)... most British like Americans are so fucking stupid and drunk on the mainstream media bullshitting machine they still haven't taken notice of all government media deception that got them into supporting all the stupid terrorist act laws and wars based on false flag events orchestrated both in their own country and American and covered up by the very secretive intelligence agency scum working for and to protect establishment and its many lies. Clearly history repeats itself when ignorance and mass brainwashing combine where the truth and getting to it no longers matter. Where greedy War criminals walk free with blood on their hands along with those who supported them without a fucking conscience or sense.. Bush/ Tony Blair (MI5 background handled scum) and all its closest supporters, notice how the change in both America and British governments was just an illusion of change, they both continue the wars, while trying desperately to conspirize the truth and all the evidence that just leads to more un- answered questions because of the coverups and lies they created and continue creating.

But hey games offering gamers the chance to play the other side is like some new thing to these dumb fucks who would only like to censor things when it doesn't just fit in line with their bullshit and propaganda, and its not glorifying killing for their side. And especially if doesn't support their bullshit for more wars against whatever crap they've got something to gain out of getting others to serve in duty for, even it was just to benefit corporate and crown greed. Besides the Taliban and Al-CIA-Derr , are both CIA funded and created entities, so that would make America the biggest war mongering bully the world possibly has, and a very good British/Isreali attack dog country.

I find it totally stupid, its a game, they need to get their heads out of their butts and get over it.

Its a personal choice if you play as Taliban, i personally don't plan on it, since i think its wrong, but banning the game is just stupid, i would prefer to remember the fallen soldiers of the war that the game focuses on.

But i guess the British Defence person doesn't care about that and just cares about banning a game because it involves killing a bunch of non-existant british troops....ok...

In response, TIGA, the Trade Association representing the video games industry in Europe today released the following statement regarding the controversy surrounding release of the upcoming game.

Well I am very British and I will be buying this game if the multiplayer is any good. I find it very un-British for my government to fight a war over oil in my name sending some of my good friends to die at the hands of people whom are protecting what they believe in (we have gone into a Country that has had civil war since the seventies and chosen a side). So please let me buy my games in peace and go back to doing what you do best, spending public funds.
