Ubisoft Launches $500K Pirate Treasure Hunt for Assassin's Creed Fans - briefly

Ubisoft has teamed up with Unsolved Hunts for a massive real-world treasure hunt called Gold & Crystal – The Lost Treasure of Edward Kenway, tied to the upcoming Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced. Participants pay about $35 to join and solve 15 puzzles with pirate lore and game references to locate a buried chest in the Caribbean. The winner gets flown out to dig up a real $500,000 prize: a replica chest with gold doubloons and a crystal skull. The hunt starts November 9, 2026, and could take 2-5 years to solve.
