  • Star Trek Online Going Casual? - Perpetual has been acquired by new ownership, reportedly a media company looking to use Star Trek Online to make its first major inroads into the video game market. Along with the acquisition comes a partial retargeting of Star Trek Online to what our source describes as a "more casual" experience, one which may potentially eschew subscription fees in favor of the practice of charging real money for optional in-game items, a practice popularized by various Korean MMOs.
  • UT3 PS3 Ships On 10th - Midway announces that Unreal Tournament 3 for the PlayStation 3 will be shipping on December 10th. The game has already shipped internationally for the PC and is available for a U.S. suggested retail price of $49.95 and $59.95 for the collector's edition.

Pain makes use of the Havok physics engine for all dynamic simulations.

That R4 chip is a big problem. It's one thing getting a game from a mate, but to get a game from your mate or the net and just copy it without a concience is rediculous. I say take the brats internet access away or make the parents responsible. Certainly, if it was mine i'ld break it's fingers, then there would be no internet!
