  • Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway Impressions - FiringSquad has posted its impressions of Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway,  the latest game in the genre: "The game uses the environment in new ways. For example, enemies who are hiding behind sand bags are protected from rifle and machine gun fire. However if they are hiding behind wooden fences, its pretty much open season on shooting Nazis. Weapons fire turns those fences into splinters in no time and they shatter realistically. "
  • Gears of War PC Previews - GameDaily, IGN and ShackNews have posted their impressions of Gears of War PC. Demo machines were running a smooth 60fps at 1920x1200 resolution on machines equipped with Nvidia 8800-series cards and 2GB of RAM.
  • Haze Impressions - FiringSquad has posted its impressions of Haze, the upcoming sci-fi first person shooter from developer Free Radical and publisher UbiSoft: "Multiplayer promises to be pretty darn cool as Free Radical plans to have four player online and offline co-op modes along with other multiplayer features. Free Radical uses its own graphics engine for the game and it looks pretty good based on our brief demo, particularly with some great looking weapons models."
  • Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway (PC/PS3/Xbox 360)
    MotoGP '07 (PC/Xbox 360)
    Turok (PS3/Xbox 360)

  • Lost Planet PC gets free content - Capcom has announced plans to update the PC version of their sci-fi action game Lost Planet: Extreme Condition on July 20. The update will include four multiplayer maps that were released as downloads for the Xbox 360 version of the game in two separate map packs. The PC changes also include a 'Resident Evil 4-style' view mode and a new 'Wide' view, a 'movie mode' for watching the game's cut-scenes back to back, multiplayer updates to allow you to see connected players, 'PC Map Pack 1' and new characters, presumably for multiplayer - Jo from Lost Planet itself, Mega Man, and Dead Rising's Frank West.
  • Mark Rein clears up PS3 questions - Here's some clarifications about Windows LIVE and cross platform play we found informative: "UT3 does not use Games for Windows LIVE. We have not decided about cross platform play between PC and PS3. We're not 100% sure that users want that feature but if we get time we'll play around with it and see how it works. In the mean time we plan to be able to serve the PS3 from PC servers so that should help us gets lots of great servers going."
  • Guild Wars: Eye Of The North Pre-Order Offers - Players who pre-order Guild Wars: Eye of the North will gain access to the Sneak Peek Weekend, August 24–26, 2007, where they will be able to log into the game for a first look at Eye of the North.
