  • Star Wars: Empire at War Expansion Q&A - Computer Games Online has posted a two part (part #1, part #2) Star Wars: Empire at War - Forces of Corruption Q&A.
  • Guild Wars: Nightfall Details - ArenaNet has officially announced Guild Wars Nightfall, the next continuation of their multiplayer fantasy action-RPG series. The public will get their first look at Guild Wars Nightfall during a special free PVP beta event which will be held July 28-31. The preview event will allow you to check out the two new professions, and compete for items that can be exchanged for rewards.
  • SpellForce 2 - Dragon Storm Announced - JoWooD announced SpellForce 2 - Dragon Storm, an expansion for the RTS/RPG hybrid SpellForce 2 - Shadow Wars. Word is: "SpellForce 2 - Dragon Storm takes players through a fascinating and exciting challenge as they fight for the magical portals, which seem to be the only connection between the shattered islands of Eo. During the search for the font, which could replace the dwindling energy and save the magical portals, the player recovers old runes and amazing traces of the most powerful creatures of the past: dragons…" The expansion pack will be released in Winter 2006.
  • SiN Episode 1: Emergence Patch This Week - The patch will include various changes and bug-fixes, as well as a trio of new arena mode maps. The story includes screenshots showing off the new maps
  • Universal Combat: Special Edition Demo - There is a Universal Combat: Special Edition demo on the Battlecruiser Online Downloads Page. There are two versions of the demo; a full 500 MB version and a much smaller 90 MB version if you own a copy of the previous game in the series Universal Combat A World Apart.
  • Neverwinter Nights 2 Delay - Atari has sent out a note that Neverwinter Nights 2 has been delayed. Originally the game was scheduled for a September release, but the game will now come out late October.
  • WarPath ships - Groove Games announces that Pariah is shipping to stores, and Digital Extremes' first-person shooter is now available in North America.
  • Square-Enix Responds To FFXI Successsor Rumor - Square has responded to the recent news item that stated they are working on a successor to FFXI for both the XBox360 and PS3. To noone's surprise, they have denied the rumor.
  • Dead Rising German Trouble Confirmed - Capcom has confirmed that Dead Rising "is very likely" to receive a ban in Germany on the grounds of violence.
