  • EverQuest: Titanium Announced - Sony Online Entertainment announced that it will be releasing EverQuest: Titanium, an all-inclusive collection consisting of EverQuest Classic and the first ten expansions. EverQuest Titanium carries a suggested retail price of $19.99 and will be available at retail beginning January 11, 2006.
  • Hard Truck: Apocalypse preview -  2404 has posted a preview of Targem's Hard Truck: Apocalypse, an upcoming vehicle based third-person RPG set in a post apocalyptic world filled with hostile mercenaries and the wreckage of a formerly productive society.
  • Desperados 2: Cooper's Revenge preview - HookedGamers has posted a preview of Desperados 2: Cooper's Revenge, the sequel to the popular Desperados: Wanted Dead or Alive that was released in April of 2001 by Spellbound.
  • Terrorist Takedown: War In Colombia - CITY Interactive announces plans for Terrorist Takedown: War In Colombia, a continuation of this first-person shooter series that takes the fight against terrorism to South America.
  • Halo Zero available - Halo Zero (download) is a 2D side-scrolling fan game based on the Halo series.
  • Blazing Angels Xbox 360 announced - Ubisoft has announced Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII, a flight action game for Xbox 360. The game is set for release in early 2006.
  • MotoGP 3 screens for Xbox 360 - German gaming website 4players.de has the exclusive first look at the upcoming moto racer for Xbox 360.
  • Xbox vs. Xbox 360 with Video Capture: Side-by-Side Comparisons - GamesFirst.com has posted an article comparing identical video captures from the Xbox 360 version of King Kong and the Xbox version.

  • Slow start for Xbox 360 in Japan; 28% sell-through reported - Market research firm Media Create estimates that only 28 per cent of the consoles shipped in the territory sold through in the weekend of launch, representing actual sales of just under 42,000 units.

  • ATI Catalyst 5.12 (December 2005) Performance Analysis - TweakTown tested the latest ATI Catalyst 5.12: "The only gripe that we have with the driver is the problem we have in Quake 4 with our X700 PRO.   • Activision Game Jobs - Activision sends along word that their various offices in North America are hiring programmers, game designers, scripters, artists, animators and producers. Also Shiny Entertainment announced that they are hiring with the company gearing up for new projects. The company is currently looking for PSP, Xbox 360, animation, and physics programmers, a 3D animator, a visual effects artist, a game designer and a sound editor.
  • Korean gamer collapses and dies - ABC Asia Pacific reports that a 38-year-old South Korean man recently collapsed and died after a marathon game session, which saw him toiling away in an Internet café in Incheon, west of Seoul, for ten days solid.

Who-knows I wouldn't mind forkin' that much of cold hard coinage on a device that I'll only use once in a blue moon.


Halo Sidescroller is so kewl too! te-hehe! It makes that HL sidescroller look sooo worthless!

And that Korean lad :( Kinda shame seeing what devoted gamers get. A couple lost their kid a short while back. Lots of fellows lose their lives :( It's a darn shame. I don't see a point in playing a game for more than five hours a day. Unless it's an addictive mmorpg that forces you to pay a monthly said-fee of 10 buckaroos. Then all the marbles are on the floor! Spend every waking moment making those 10 buckaroos a month worth something! :P
