  • Valve on Being Acquired - Doug Lombardi, in an interview with Gamasutra, stated that Valve would "happy to have that conversation" to any parties interested in acquiring Valve. "By the same token, the company's doing pretty well, and we're really happy with what we're doing," he added. "So we'll see. I mean, anything is possible."

  • Gemma Atkinson confirmed for Red Alert 3 appearance - EA has signed Gemma Atkinson of Hollyoaks fame-shame to act in Red Alert 3. She will be filling the uniform of familiar character Lt Eva McKenna, an Allied communications officer with a "sexy twinkle in her eye and a British stiff upper lip", according to the statement. In other news, Gametrailers have a new Red Alert 3 Beta Gameplay video

  • Burnout Paradise Bikes (PS3) Delayed to September - An update on the PlayStation.Blog by Criterion producer Jeremy Chubb reveals that the content pack is now scheduled to arrive in September, marking a slight delay from its originally scheduled August debut.

  • Naughty Dog using '30-40%' of PS3's power - In this ThreeSpeech interview, Naughty Dog’s Richard Lemarchand has said the Uncharted developer’s currently working with less that half PS3’s available grunt.

Uncharted is a gorgeous game, it seems that even today, programmers can't do their jobs properly if all that they were using was 40% of the PS3s horsepower.
If the PS3 can render detail like that then ALL PS3 games should be like that and pumped out 1080i/p. Lazy gits :evil:
