  • Half-Life 2: Episode Two, TF2 previews, Q&A - Eurogamer has a new preview for Episode 2 as well as an extended interview with Gabe Newell. There may be some spoilers, but Episode 2 is said to be "epic" in scale and the information revealed is only the tip of the iceberg. In related news, Eurogamer also was lucky enough to get some hands on time with Valve's Team Fortress 2.
  • Overlord trailer -  Codemasters has released a gameplay video (24.2MB) from Overlord, showing off more of the upcoming fantasy action-adventure game from developer Triumph Studios. The PC-Xbox 360 game is due for release in summer 2007.
  • New Fallout 3 Concept Artwork - Bethesda's Fallout 3 website has been updated with this week's piece of concept art, offering a closer look at the game world. I really like this one.
  • Crysis is looking good - An Nvidia employee, Roy Taylor recently got to visit the Crytek studios in frankfurt on a work trip. He wrote a quick summary of what he thinks of Crysis on his blog
  • Supreme Commander Patch v1.1.3251 - The latest patch for Supreme Commander (download) has been released, updating the sci-fi RTS game from Gas Powered Games and THQ to version 1.1.3251. The patch, which has a new mod manager a number of changes and bug fixes.
  • World of Warcraft 2.1.0 Patch - Blizzard has finally released the long awaited 2.1.0 patch for their hit fantasy MMO World of Warcraft. This massive 389MB patch is the first major content update for the game since the release of the expansion pack Burning Crusade and includes new quests, the new Black Temple dungeon, reworked potions, new items and more.
  • Star Wars Galaxies Update Goes Live - LucasArts has announced that the latest free content update to the Sony Online developed MMO Star Wars Galaxies has now gone live for its subscribers
  • End of Battlefield 2 Patches? - A post made on DigitalBattle states that Battlefield 2 does not have any more patches planned. Although no official announcement has been made this does seem to be the case. The ex-DICE employees mentioned were part of DICE Canada which was closed October 5th, 2006 when EA completed the takeover of DICE. They then went on to form Red Jade Studios.   • Valve Says No Charge For Downloadable Content - Valve announced that they have no plans to charge for any extra downloadable content. Of course, they must get final approvalfrom MS for any Xbox 360 downloads, so it may not be free. On the PC though, Valve says: "You buy the product, you get the content!"
  • Riddick Remake Officially Announced - Sierra Entertainment officially announced today that The Chronicles of Riddick remake (review 92%) will blast onto Microsoft's Xbox 360, and debut on the PS3, for the first time. Yeah that sucks. I see PC users are being denied once again, even though the PC edition of the original version was by far the best.
  • Enemy Territory: Quake Wars Coming To Macs - Aspyr Media has officially announced that it will develop and publish the Macintosh version of Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, the multiplayer shooter from developers Splash Damage and id Software.
  • Geometry Wars Coming to Wii/DS - The latest issue of Nintendo Power reveals that Geometry Wars: Galaxies is blasting its way to the Nintendo Wii and DS.
  • Jack Thompson Lays His Legal Sights On Halo 3 - Miami attorney and anti-game activist Jack Thompson was back at it again today. It seems Mr. Thompson is taking issue with the pending release of Microsoft's Halo 3 game, currently being enjoyed by 360 owners everywhere with its multiplayer beta.

I wonder if this man has ever played a video game. He also says that the rating system is corupt, why not fix the ratings instead of sending letters at Bill Gates. Making a threat to the richest man in the world can't be the smartest thing to do :D
