Destroy All Humans! Path of the Furon
  • Mercenaries 2: World in Flames preview - IGN has Pre-E3 2007: Mercenaries 2 Hands-On: "Playing through the same mission multiple times showed the variety of ways you can complete the same task. In one, I ran on foot, using my rocket launcher to take down buildings and tanks. I caused enough destruction to earn cash for an air strike, which made taking down the largest of the three buildings easy to destroy. On the second run, I commandeered a tank and put the hurt on every building in my path. In the final go around, I went commando style and used grenades and my rocket launcher to take down the targets."
  • Stranglehold  - 1UP has the first multiplayer details: "What the game promises, it delivers. You rarely see an action game this stylish and explosive, and the much-hyped destructible environments work extremely well in practice. When you blow up one of the drug labs in Tai-O, you feel it, with the entire shack that houses it breaking into hundreds of pieces surrounding a giant fireball. And it looks fantastic."
  • Destroy All Humans! Path of the Furon Announced + First Look - THQ sent out a press release announcing that two all-new titles in the irreverent sci-fi action gaming franchise Destroy All Humans! are currently in development and scheduled to ship simultaneously in early 2008. IGN has the first look: "Path of the Furon expands on the open world format of the previous Destroy All Humans! titles. Thanks to the open mission structure of the game, players will be able to decide what they want to obliterate and what they will spare (obviously, there will be very little left standing after Crypto gets through). With the ability to manipulate or destroy anything in the world, you'll be able to take your destruction to new heights"
  • Civilization IV: Gold Edition Announced - 2K Announced Sid Meier's Civilization IV: Gold Edition, a new Civilization IV bundle that will be released in just over a week, offering the game and the Warlords expansion.
  • Plant Tycoon Announced -  An independent developer Last Day of Work announced Plant Tycoon for PC and Mac. An all-new version of the award-winning handheld game, this virtual gardening simulation game will let players breed and crossbreed plants while they search for six magic plants and build from a simple backyard garden to a lavish nursery empire.
  • The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition - Bethesda announces plans for a Game of the Year Edition of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, which will bundle the RPG sequel with its Shivering Isles expansion and Knights of the Nine content. The GoTY edition will be available in September.
  • Painkiller: Overdose Mod Becomes Offical Commerical Game - JoWood has announced that a previously announced Painkiller mod called Overdose has now become an official stand alone commercial Painkiller game. Painkiller: Overdose from developer Mindware Studios will now be released for the PC in October.
  • Bioshock System Requirements Released - Minimum: Pentium 4 2.4GHz, 1GB RAM and NVIDIA 6600 or better/ATI X1300 or better.
  • Dreamlords 10days free trial - Beginning today Dreamlords will be available for a completely free 10 day trial. No strings attached, no credit card required and open for everyone. We just want to let you all try it out for yourselves.
  • Misc E3 coverage: Atari Line-Up | Video game expo going babe free.
  • 80GB PS3 Nixes Hardware Back Compatibility - Sony Computer Entertainment America confirmed today that the newly-announced 80GB PlayStation 3 will utilize software emulation for PS2 games as opposed to the more inclusive hardware emulation found in current US PS3s.
  • Xbox 360 Scratched Disk Lawsuit Filed - The lawsuit alleges that Microsoft's Xbox 360 game console causes game disks to be destroyed via scratches generated by the disk drive. The lawsuit is asking for $5 million in damages.
