mh so if i understand well, Crysis runs on DX9 hardware, still the X360 & PS3 aren't good enough ?
because it won't run "as it was intended"

why do they even bother to keep the DX9 compatibility then ?
why not even lock the screen resolution and level of details in the option to be sure it runs "as it was intended" ?

i can imagine the kind of warnings we'd get in the future
"You computer would be able to run the game, but not as it was intended by us. Please upgrade. Goodbye."

My.. they'd get on well together with Cliffy B.

yhancik(04:00 PM CEST - Aug,29 2006 )
yes and actually it just sounds like bragging about their engine

"ya know, it's so powerful even the PS3 can't run it!"

i wouldn't be so proud about that, it only screams "bad optimisation"

Meh, no big loss here...FPSs on consoles are totally weak anyway.

Rom> Meh, no big loss here...FPSs on consoles are totally weak anyway.

Bingo!!

And what would be so hard about bringing the keyboard and mouse into the console environment?

I'm guessing it'd be hell for multiplayer, because the mouse dudes would absolutely own the controler dudes. Even then, the console should be smart enough to realize which one is hooked up and there could be a segregation of servers/matches for each style.

Ooooooh Mig!!! Stop screen watching you loser!

lol, it just sucks all around.

miglaugh(07:10 PM CEST - Aug,29 2006 )
WTF?

least i don't live in jersey.

djRom(07:21 PM CEST - Aug,29 2006 )
LOL!!! I like Jersey! :)

But, you do realize I was just pointing out another huge flaw in console gaming by saying "stop screen watching"...Since everyone is using the same screen...lol!

Safer(07:41 PM CEST - Aug,29 2006 )
I get this feel that these Crytek people don't like consols that much...

Mario is simply not enough for some people... >_>

djRom(09:27 PM CEST - Aug,29 2006 )
rofl!! Well played Safer!
