Lighthouse Interactive today announced
its plans for an expansion for Ship Simulator 2006
, an untitled add-on due for release in European territories (except Germany) in February 2007. The Official Add-On will feature a.o. 6 new ships, one of them a giant cruise ship capable of carrying thousands of passengers. All new ships are playable in the 2006 version environments and can be used to create new missions.

Wal-Mart To Launch Movie-TV Download Service Wednesday -
CNNMoney reports that retailer
Wal-Mart will be the latest company to offer movie and TV downloads
from their web site. The service, which will begin Wednesday, will do something a little different than other service in that the retailer will also offer people who purchase DVDs in their stores the option to download the same movie to PCs, laptops and portable devices for an additional fee. With the purchase of the "Superman Returns" physical DVD, Wal-Mart said customers can also choose from three video download format options -- $1.97 for portable devices, $2.97 for PCs/laptops, and $3.97 for both portable players and PC/laptops.

Yeah, I agree. I played the demo expecting a really awesome experience. I was brutally disappointed after the first 5 minutes.
