  • Beer Tycoon Announced - Beer Tycoon (PR) will be the first game where players will be in charge of brewing their favourite beers. To be released in January 2007, it’s being developed by tycoon experts Virtual Playground.
  • Ship Simulator 2006 Add-on Announced - Lighthouse Interactive today announced its plans for an expansion for Ship Simulator 2006, an untitled add-on due for release in European territories (except Germany) in February 2007. The Official Add-On will feature a.o. 6 new ships, one of them a giant cruise ship capable of carrying thousands of passengers. All new ships are playable in the 2006 version environments and can be used to create new missions.
  • Warhammer Online Q&A - A new Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning Q&A can be found at Slashdot.org, where they got the EA Mythic team to answer reader submitted questions.
  • Call of Juarez Patch v1.1.0.0 - Techland has released the first patch for Call of Juarez, upgrading all editions of their Wild West first-person shooter to version 1.1.0.0. This patch includes an anti-cheat system, new server options and console commands, menu improvements.
  • Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter Patch v1.35 - Ubi Soft has released a new  patch for Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter to update all retail and downloadable editions of the squad-based tactical shooter sequel by GRIN to version 1.35. This upgrade implements a handful of OGR Coop and other multiplayer enhancements, crash fixes, and other improvements.
  • Bet on Soldier: Black-out Saigon German Demo - Frogster Interactive has released a German playable demo for Bet on Soldier: Black-out Saigon, allowing you to try out this recently released second expansion pack to the futuristic FPS by Kylotonn Entertainment. This demo contains one mission titled "Schlacht um Saigon".
  • The Battle for Middle-earth II - The Rise of the Witch-king ships - Electronic Arts' The Lord of the Rings, The Battle for Middle-earth II, The Rise of the Witch-king shipped to retailers nationwide today, and shipped Internationally on November 24, 2006.
  • SpaceStationSim Launches - Enlight today announced that Vision Videogames' SpaceStationSim has shipped to North American retail outlets. Available exclusively on the PC, SpaceStationSim is rated E 10+ and carries an MSRP of $19.99.
  • Relic Working On MMO And RPG Titles? - According to new job listings on the THQ web site, its in-house developer Relic Entertainment is recruiting for new RPG and MMO games, signaling a departure for the developer that has mostly worked on PC RTS game titles.
  • MS Announces Xbox360 Shadowrun Beta - Microsoft Game Studios and FASA has announced that the Xbox360 Shadowrun beta test is underway. Currently it is only slated for the Xbox360, but it may be expanded to Windows Vista uses in the near future.
  • Nintendo Sells More Than 600k Wii Units In Week - According to this press release, Nintendo has sold more than 600,000 Wii units in the last 8 days!
  • More Nintendo Wii Virtual Console Games Released - Neverless, today two more new classic games from Sega have been released as part of the Virtual Console. The ports of Ecco the Dolphin and Golden Axe are now available for download for 800 Wii points ($8).
  • Playstation 3 1.11 Firmware Update - The update doesn't appear to do much, besides relocating the online account management button to the "Friends" menu and taking 15 minutes to download. 
  • Xbox Live Arcade "GameStick" Announced - The Microsoft-licensed Arcade GameStick (pictured) package will include the full Xbox Live Arcade games Frogger, Time Pilot and Astropop. The controller is also compatible with PC USB.
  • Wal-Mart To Launch Movie-TV Download Service Wednesday - CNNMoney reports that retailer Wal-Mart will be the latest company to offer movie and TV downloads from their web site. The service, which will begin Wednesday, will do something a little different than other service in that the retailer will also offer people who purchase DVDs in their stores the option to download the same movie to PCs, laptops and portable devices for an additional fee. With the purchase of the "Superman Returns" physical DVD, Wal-Mart said customers can also choose from three video download format options -- $1.97 for portable devices, $2.97 for PCs/laptops, and $3.97 for both portable players and PC/laptops.

Yeah, I agree. I played the demo expecting a really awesome experience. I was brutally disappointed after the first 5 minutes.

Beer Tycoon, now there's a game for Stumpass. Maybe he can actually learn there is more beers than just RootBeer FFS.. :lol:
