- Mass Effect 2 Interview - Gamasutra interview
Mass Effect 2's Lead Producer Adrien Cho about improving on the
original Mass Effect. In related news, Valve finally released a Steam update to fix
an issue that was preventing Mass Effect 2 from pre-loading. To fix
this issue update your steam client and then restart it. Note that this
fix currently only works for North American steam clients.
- Medal of Honor SP and MP Engines Revealed -
Planet Medal of Honor goes over the latest DICE tweets
which confirms that Medal of Honor will utilize a heavily modified
Unreal 3 Engine for the Single Player portion of the game, and
Frostbite for the Multiplayer portion.
- Avatar: The Game Patch v1.02 - A new patch has been released for
Avatar: The Game. Snippies from FilePlanet: Version 1.02 reduces some
crashes with certain video cards, problem using audio frequency above
48Hz, and other minor problems..
- Team Fortress 2 Double Crouch Jump Bug Fixed -
Valve has announced that they have finally
fixed the long-standing issue in which the Scout was unable to double
crouch jump without looking like a total spazoid.
- Settlers 7 Beta Opens - The beta test of
The Settlers 7 on FilePlanet has opened up, and no longer requires a paid subscription,
though you must have a registered account to participate.
- Silas Announced - Exalt Studios
announces Silas, an upcoming kart racing
game that will be the debut release from this independent developer.
The game is slated to launch on May 20, 2010, offering multiplayer
support through the internet or a LAN.
- Silent Hunter 5 CE Details - The Ubisoft
Forums announce a March 4, 2010 release date for
Silent Hunter 5: Battle of the Atlantic, also revealing plans for a
collector's edition for the next installment in the naval combat
simulation series
- Lost Planet 2 & Super Street Fighter IV
Release Date - A press release announces May 18th launch for
Lost Planet 2 (simultaneous PC release unconfirmed), and an April 27th
launch for Super Street Fighter IV.
