- Stranglehold Impressions -
FiringSquad has posted its E3 impressions of Stranglehold, the upcoming
Unreal Engine 3 powered action game: "In the demo we also got to see the John
Woo patent pending gun acrobatic moves as Tequilia jumps, shoots, slides down
bannisters, kicks off walks and generally makes killing people look like a
ballet. Of course you have some 'slow mo' effects in the game but for the most
part the E3 demo of the game really showed some innovative gun movements and
combos that should be a lot of fun to execute in the final game."
- Unreal Tournament 2007 Impressions -
FiringSquad has also posted its E3 impressions of Unreal Tournament 2007:
"The demo saw the human side of the team taking out the alien Necrid in a
variety of weapons and vehicles from the two man buggy to massive tanks. The
Necrid had by far the coolest looking vehicle in their War of the Worlds style
walker with long tentacle like legs walking around. Of course the humans get
their own massive vehicle with a huge laser that easily took out the alien
walkers"
