Of the four vehicles, the Fighter was probably the easiest to jump into an use effectively: it's more or less an armored flying suit that keeps you in the air indefinitely, and not only did it make crossing maps a breeze, but also provided an extra layer of protection. The Assault Ship is the complete opposite, a large gunship that rains down destruction on any poor soul who happens to get caught in its path. On the ground, there's the Rover (Tribes' version of a jeep) and the Tank, which has the ability to jump in short bursts. Control of the Tank was a little iffy in the beta, with stiff turning and occasionally getting caught on rough terrain, but that was one of the few rough spots in an otherwise smooth-playing beta.
